Cape Sounio
Grecotel Cape Sounio boasts one of the most dramatic settings in the Attica province. Located some 67km from Athens, it clings to a pine-clad hillside with panoramic views of the Temple of Poseidon, one of the many famous archaeological sites in the area, while behind is the verdant backdrop of the Sounio National Park. Shaped like an amphitheatre, this luxurious hotel looks down upon two beautiful bays (one sandy, one shingle) that are reached by underground passages. When you are not simply admiring the view, there are plenty of recreational opportunities, including the professionally-run Elixir Health Club.
IMPORTANT: Due to its location, the hotel is not recommended to guests with walking difficulties.
