Scheduled flights, charter flights or low cost airlines - it’s your choice Planet Holidays has access to a variety of flight options and the vast majority of our customers prefer to travel on scheduled flights which offer high levels of comfort and service. Whilst we also deal with reputable charter companies, increases in fuel and tax costs have forced cut-backs and charter airlines no longer offer meals on board. Low cost airlines provide excellent value and to get the best prices, it is advisable to book as early as possible. Flexible durations on scheduled flights and low cost airlines Our cooperation with scheduled airlines such as British Airways, Norwegian, Monarch Airlines, EasyJet and Aegean Airlines means that we can offer you the option of a flexible duration when a standard 7 or 14 night holiday does not suit your travel plans. Flight upgrades For a special holiday or just for extra comfort, you can upgrade your seat to Club Europe or Business Class on British Airways and Aegean Airlines. In-flight services Additional services such as reserving seats together or requesting a special meal may be available depending on which airline you fly with. Ask us for details and costs when you book. Airport services See page 241 for details of airport parking, ‘meet & greet’ services and airport lounges. Private taxi transfers overseas Our aim is to make your holiday as personalised as possible. For this reason, we give you the opportunity to include return private taxi transfers between the airport and your hotel. Taxis can accommodate a maximum of 3 passengers plus luggage. At some destinations, transfers are by minibus reserved exclusively for your party. At resorts where a limited number of taxis is available, you may have to share with other guests. Please read details of ‘Arrival and Transfers’ on page 237 for further information. 6 Services at your resort When transfers have been pre-booked, you will be met on arrival. Experience tells us that the majority of our guests do not want daily visits from holiday representatives. We understand that your time is precious and we will not impose ourselves on you if you are quite happy to be left to your own devices. When necessary, however, we will always be available to assist and advise you regarding any aspect of your holiday.
